Visitors with a phone camera or a native scanner can join a WPA, WEP, or open network without typing a password or asking for it again. A printed Wi-Fi code saves your staff repeated interruptions and removes the most common source of connection errors: mistyped passwords.
This is a job for a static QR code. The credentials live directly in the printed pattern, so the code keeps working with no dependence on QR Brand Kit or any other service after you download it.

Three fields, one pattern.
Network name (SSID) must match exactly, including capital letters. Security follows the router: WPA / WPA2 covers nearly every modern router; WEP remains for legacy equipment; choose no-password for open guest networks. Password is skipped for open networks and hidden-network support is a checkbox.
Treat the downloaded file like a printed credential. The password is recoverable from the code by anyone who scans it, so place staff-only network cards where customers cannot photograph them, and use a separate guest network when in doubt.

- Keep the code at least 2–3 cm wide on table cards and signage
- Use the darkest ink color on a white or very light background for the most reliable scans
- Leave the included quiet zone free of logos, text, and cut marks
- Laminate table cards and avoid glossy surfaces that reflect glare
- Re-test the printed card with two or three different phones before distributing

Does the Wi-Fi QR code work on every phone?
Modern iPhones and Android phones scan Wi-Fi QR codes natively from the camera app. Some older devices need a QR scanner app. Print one card and test it before producing the full batch.
What happens when the Wi-Fi password changes?
The password is fixed inside the printed pattern. When a network password rotates, generate a new code with the new password and print replacement cards. Wi-Fi codes are static by design; there is no way to change them after printing.
Can the code be customized?
Yes. Choose ink and background colors, square or rounded modules, dot or extra-rounded corner styles, and a center logo. Keep contrast high: the QR specification needs a clear difference between dark and light areas to scan reliably.
Is my password visible to anyone who scans the code?
Yes. The pattern encodes the network name, security type, and password together. Anyone who scans the code can join the network or extract the credentials, so keep the physical card under your control.
Do I need an account to download the code?
No. The public generator creates and downloads Wi-Fi QR codes without an account, watermark, expiry, or advertising page.
